I am writing to apply for the Research Assistant position at West Coast Modern Homes. I hope to bring my data analytics skills and 10+ years of experience in photography to support your important archival work.

My work as a data analyst and photographer has provided me the skills to document and organize information in a variety of settings. Having worked as a concert and event photographer since 2016, I have honed my ability to capture images that resonate emotionally while providing value for marketing and documentation. My 2+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, most recently with the Provincial Health Services Authority, have trained me to organize data and resources under tight deadlines and in project-based environments. I understand that my skill set provides only a starting point for contributing to any team, and I am comfortable immersing myself in new learning environments to support my team members.

My greatest strength is my ability to learn quickly, both with technical tools and in my emotional intelligence when collaborating with stakeholders. I understand that anything I produce is only as valuable insofar as it can be understood by team members and clients, and am always looking for ways to translate knowledge or provide support documentation. Whether it is a photo series or a Python script, I am highly motivated to bring stakeholders along in understanding a project as it progresses.
